![]() From Akko’s spunky movements to Sucy’s low-key mischievous appearance, it felt like the cast has come to life in video game form. For starters, I quite liked the game’s character models, which do an excellent job of emulating the look and mannerisms of Little Witch Academia’s cast. In the case of Chamber of Time, I actually started out pleasantly surprised. A lot of times, however, manga- and anime-based games lack polish and don’t quite fulfill their potential. Once in a while, you’ll get that rare game that does the source material justice and plays great. As someone with decades of experience playing games based on popular manga and anime IPs, I always approach such projects with a grain of salt - or even a heaping spoonful. This brings us to “Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time” for the PlayStation 4. If you’re able to, I recommend at least watching the original movie.
